Sweet and spicy water


Ingredients Required: –

For Filling

  • Potato – 1 large
  • Black chana – 4 tbsp
  • Methi sonth – 2 tbsp
  • Green chutney – 2 tbs
  • Sev – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste

For water

  • Water – 3 glass
  • Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • Salt – as per taste
  • Black salt – 1/2 tbsp
  • Sendha namak – 1/4 tbsp
  • Jal jeera masala – 1 tbsp
  • Roasted cumin seeds powder – 1 tsp
  • Tamarind chutney – 1 tbsp
  • Salted Boondi – 3 tbsp
  • Green (coriander and mint) chutney – 4 tbsp
  • Lemon – 1 (juice)

Procedure: –

  • First of all, for filling boil potato and black chana separately and then peel off the potato.
  • Now in bowl crumble the potato and add boiled black chana.
  • Add both type of chutney and salt and mix well.
  • Filling is ready now.
  • When you add filing in gol gappe add sev at last and then fill water in it.
  • Both type of chutney and sev is optional to use (I used black chana and potato only)

Now for water

  • Take large bowl and pour 3 glass of water in it.
  • Add sugar and salt, black salt and sendha namak and mix well till sugar dissolves in it.
  • Now add jal jeera masala, tamarind (imli) chutney, lemon juice, mint leaves and mix well.
  • Now take coriander chutney in small cup and with the help of drainer squeeze it’s juice in the large bowl.
  • Pulp out tightly the coriander and mint chutney in large bowl mixture.
  • Now mix well and add roasted cumin seeds powder.
  • Once again mix well.
  • Wash salted with plenty of water and add in bowl and mix.
  • It’s ready to be used… enjoy this sweet and spicy water 🙂
